Tecno Pop 5 Go
Tecno Pop 5 Go brings competitive pricing to budget phones with interesting aesthetics while still managing to keep the price low. It has a large 6.1-inch screen, a 5MP camera, a huge 4000mAh battery, and pretty solid performance. It looks better than it promises, but compromises are to be expected.
Design
Tecno Pop 5 Go comes with a 6.1-inch IPS LCD screen with a drop notch design for the selfie camera. It has very pronounced bezels and a chin, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a screen to body ratio of 76.5%. It has a plastic frame and back and a scratch-resistant front panel. It is fairly bright and vivid, peaking at 400 nits. It has top placed a headphone jack and a single downward-firing speaker, which is great for playing media. It has a conveniently placed rear-end fingerprint sensor for safe unlocking.
Performance
Tecno Pop 5 Go comes with the budget MediaTek MT6761 chipset, making it decently fast. It has a 1.3 GHz Cortex Quad-core CPU paired with ARM Mali-400MP GPU, with storage options of 1 GB for RAM & 16 GB for ROM. It also comes with a dedicated expandable memory option slot. It is running Android 10 Go Edition, paired with the in-house HIOS skin. The performance feels fluid and decent. It however comes with a lot of preinstalled apps and services, which makes it feel a little bloated. The upside is this particular OS is very customizable.

Tecno Pop 5 Go comes with a dual camera set up, starting with a 5MP primary sensor, paired with a VGA depth sensor. As you may have guessed, the cameras are the compromise that had to be taken for this phone to break the price bottom. The pictures are decent and usable, especially in good lighting. The video can support up to 720p video at 30 fps. The selfie camera is a similar 5MP wide sensor, capable of 720p video at 30fps. The selfies are decent and usable
