Logistics and transport
Vehicles and cargo moving between the port, the ICDs and inland customers, where visibility ends at the yard gate unless something is fitted to provide it.
A load leaving Mombasa passes through several custodians before it reaches an inland customer, and the operator is accountable for all of it while being able to see none of it. The gap between dispatch and delivery is where cargo goes missing, where routes quietly lengthen, and where a customer asking "where is my delivery" gets an answer based on a phone call rather than a system.
What changes that is a combination rather than one device: tracking on the vehicle, an electronic seal on the container, and a channel that reaches a driver hundreds of kilometres away without depending on him answering a phone. Fuel monitoring matters here too, because long-haul routes are where consumption discrepancies are largest and hardest to attribute.
Solutions
What applies to this sector.
Vehicle tracking
Live GPS tracking, route playback, trip reports and geofence alerts for one vehicle or a fleet — with remote immobilisation where it is configured, and anti-jamming options where the risk warrants them.
Fuel monitoring
A sensor in the tank, tied to GPS, so every fuel movement carries a time, a location, a vehicle and a quantity — and an abnormal drop reaches you the day it happens rather than at month end.
AI video telematics and driver safety
Cameras that watch the road and the driver, with AI picking out the events worth seeing — so an incident comes with footage rather than two conflicting accounts, and risky driving is visible before it becomes a collision.
Speed limiters and NTSA compliance
Speed limiters for PSVs, school buses, trucks and commercial fleets — limiting the vehicle to 80 km/h, transmitting to the NTSA portal, and alerting you to violations and certificate expiry before they become a problem.
Electronic Cargo Tracking System (ECTS)
Cargo and container security that adds electronic access control, GPS tracking, tamper detection and event recording to a container, so its location and security status are visible for the whole journey rather than only on arrival.
Radio communication — PTT and PoC
Two-way radio for teams that need to talk instantly: short-range radios for a site, and PoC radios that carry voice over 4G so a driver in Mombasa and a dispatcher in Nairobi share one channel.

Anti-Jammer Tracker
A GPS tracker that treats a jamming attempt as a security event rather than as silence — detecting GSM/GPS interference and immobilising the vehicle according to its configured security logic.
